Barr, Flight & Barr Desert Service Centrepiece/ Sweetmeat Dish c.1807-13

This is quite possibly the most extravagantly imaginative and wild Worcester Imari pattern I have ever seen. The colours zing with vibrancy and the design is completely extraordinary. This piece is in excellent condition. A few very minor rubs to the gilding but no cracks, chips or hairlines. The Diamond-shaped dish shown here is not marked but other pieces in the service are marked.
I will be cataloguing and photographing other pieces from the same service in the coming weeks, (during October 2018). Amongst the service are: a pair of ice pails, plates and sundry dishes, condition varies from piece-to-piece.
