Rosewood & Brass Box c.1815. English.

  Dimensions: 24cm in length

(Reference: 1016) Price: £1,500

In excellent condition, this box is a wonderful example of fine craftmanship.  The brass inlay is all over the box, (apart from the rear panel), and is precise, elegant and flowing.  Within the brass inlay are the initials 'MNC'. It sits on original brass ball feet.  The interior is its original green watered silk.  Note: these photos were taken on a very dull day, the box has a very warm glow from its rosewood and inlay.
