French Gilt Bronze Putti Candelabra

Late 19th century   Dimension: 48cm in height.

These candelabra are stunning in every respect. Richly gilded and standing on a delicately floral painted porcelain plinth. In the style of Louis XVIth, these date from the last quarter of the 19th Century.  Each putto holds aloft three soliate candle branches. These exude charm, style and richness of decoration. Excellent condition and ravishing. 

There are signs that these were converted to electricity at some point, so this could be done again, but they are glorious in their own right or with the flicker of natural candle flame.
