This highly decorative plaque, would in all probability have been purchased on the Grand Tour as a fine souvenir, perhaps by, (or for), the Lady of the house. It is very fine and in excellent condition. A beautiful piece, representing many hours of skilled craftsmanship. Ideal for mounting on the wall, as a table centrepiece or in a collector's cabinet.
