In excellent condition, this truly superb piece of Dutch Furniture is exuberantly inlaid with fuitwoods on a walnut ground, depicting flowers and foliage. The craftsmanship involved in the making of this piece is fabulous and extremely rare, if possible at all today. The wood is a rich and warm tone, relieved with flashes of the lighter inlaid decoration.  This would do well in any room of the house as a central decorative feature.  Perfect as a downstairs statement piece or for a Gentleman's Dressing Room, Study, Library or Games Room. Equally it would be super in a room reflecting the natural flowers in a garden.  This piece is quality and original and therefore heavy - it requires proper securing on a firm wall or alternatively leant against a wall.
