Spode Violet Pots c.1815/20

Pattern 1166 and another. Length: 10.5cm  

 

Both these delicate and beautiful violet pots are in excellent condition. The colours are vibrant and true and the gilding good.  The work is immensely skilled and exquisite.

This was Spode's most technically complex pattern to produce and its most expensive.  An excellent example. £995.  (Reference: 927)

A sumptuous blend of what Spode did best: gorgeous English garden flowers, deep blue ground and excellent gilding.  £895. (Reference: 926)
