Late C19th North African/Egyptian bobbin-turned triple screen

This hardwood screen is inlaid with Mother-of-Pearl and bears Arabic inscriptions. Its most unusual feature is a semi-cylindrical 'door' in the central panel. This is reminiscent of a 'kissing gril' used in the window frames of Islamic Southern Spain. With all-over carving and extensive turned bobbin work.
